sooo...i've been meaning to post for a while, but am pretty lazy. i have a couple dilemmas i'd like some advice on!

first dilemma: my hair is super thin, and always has been..but lately it's been seeming EXTRA thin. it may just be my haircut (or lack thereof) making it seem more thin, or the fact that i've been losing it more than normal. regardless, i was wondering if any of you lovelies had any super suggestions for thickening/strengthening products!

next dilemma: this will be harder to help with since i have no pics currently to post. i'm growing out my hair from a chin length bob and it's JUST about to my collar bone. i want to keep it the length it is, but add some sassyness. gotta have bangs, but otherwise i'm up for anything! also, it would be nice to have a cut that looks good straight OR wavy, since i like to vary between to two. so please post your favorite bang-clad medium length haircuts to help poor little me! :D

Last night I tried to dye my already red hair a different shade of red using loreal preference and it turned a horribly ugly brown. I'm thinking of using a color stripper and reattempting to go red, probably using manic panic. Does anyone know a good one that won't leave my hair completely fried?

Hey everyone. I recently let my mother do some simple highlights for me. I saw how she had done them on HERSELF so I assumed she knew what she was doing. Bad move. She did the sides all right, but near the crown of my head and my bangs is a disaster.

Alright, I still have no idea what to do to my hair. It's boring and plain and has no shape, it just hangs there. I've been using this SunSilk product to help split ends/long hair and I think it's actually working. Now I just need to figure out a new hair color and possibly a cut (I'd like to keep it as long as possible).

Any suggestions will help, I am out of ideas.

i've been a redhead for almost a year now (in january) and i'm kind of over it.

after a lot of thought, i'm pretty sure i want to go brunette. but most brunette dyes have an orangeish tint to them in the sunlight, and that's what i don't want. i realize that it probably isn't possible to completely get rid of that orange tint and that i'll have to strip my hair of the current dye.

so my question is: what box dye would give me more of a cool brown color as opposed to a warm brown color?

hi! i have very boring long hair. i am terrified to cut it off. but i am dying for something different! absolutely just dying, really. about a month ago i got some blonde highlights in my naturally brown hair (i lightened it about i month before i got highlights) so now it's growing out, and my roots are coming back, and i'm not sure if i should dye it all just brown or continue my semi-blondeness.

After reading through the comments, I've been convinced that Locks of Love if full of fail. I'm still cutting it (and possibly dying as well) but I'd love some suggestions for just a shorter style - similar to the 2007 picture behind the cut. As for the color, I love red, but I'd really like to try a darker or just different brown. I'm really pale too, so I think the red often washes me out.

As for the charity - I can't donate to Wigs for Kids or Pantene's beautiful lengths because it has been permanently dyed, and selling it after it's been permanently dyed doesn't seem like it will do too well. All in all, I'm probably going with a company that uses hair to soak up oil spills and makes hair mats for emergency spills and oiled bird and mammal cages.

Longer, possibly colored suggestions?

I had my hair cut in July and I really loved it (as it grew out) and now i'm not too sure what to do with it. I'm thinking of doing a blunt bob with blunt bangs but here is what I've been doing since then:

as you can see my hair is pretty thin. im thinking of getting it cut tho since my hair has been past my shoulders forever! i want it a little above my shoulders with short, choppy layers cuz im thinking that will make my hair look fuller? i also have side bangs, but theyre kinda long now. so any ideas on bangs and a cut that would look good on me would be great! thanks! :) also if you have thin hair thats cut short post some pics!

it might not seem alot, but i have had a couple of trims since may (my last one was in august) because i got rid of alot of the orange that was underneath.

Everyone agrees that my a-line haircut suits me pretty well, I'm going to take it a little more "steep" tomorrow at my next haircut, everyone ALSO thinks I should cut my bangs straight across again. I just think it'll look awkward! Photo evidence please?

I posted a few days ago about opinions on my bangs. I've decided to get them back but I forgot to ask:

Should I let my stylist shampoo/condition my hair or can I do it at home and she can spritz it with water at the salon? I'm just getting my split ends cut off and my bangs, does it need to be sopping wet and washed minutes before she cuts?

I'm hoping to dye my hair some time this week and I would love to have a burgundy/wine color, and blonde in there somewhere but I don't know how those colors would look together. Can you guys help me and post pictures?
I have naturally black hair so would it be better if I did the burgundy/wine and blonde as high lighs, or streaks? Can you guys post pictures of that?
Opinions (especially as far as color placement) and pictures would mean a lot to me, I never know what to do!
